The General Secretariat
The General Secretariat is placed under the responsibility of the Secretary General. The latter is the main collaborator of the Minister. The General Secretariat is primarily responsible for coordinating the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as diplomatic and consular missions. Its mission is to ensure, in close collaboration with the various Directorates of the Department, the coherence of foreign policy and to ensure the proper functioning of diplomatic and consular missions.
